Biodynamic Touch
INTRODUCTION TO CRANIOSACRaL THERAPY
Introduction to the Practice
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a non-invasive healing art that touches the many layers of ones being and encourages the life force resources to promote a process of change toward greater health-toward a unified wholeness.
This one day workshop is designed to serve as a brief introduction into the field of craniosacral therapy & Biodynamic Touch. This course is open to those who have not yet been exposed to any training in this practice. This is also an offering for those who have had previous exposure to the practice and are interested in nourishing their connection to the work. All are welcome.
In addition to experiential guided exploration in the field with hands-on practice, our time together will also include discussion about the history of the practice of craniosacral therapy, offer an introduction to some of the core components of the practice and provide supportive tools to bring into your daily life and professional practice.
This particular way of engaging with the living system naturally invokes cultivation of embodied presence. This cultivation of presence enhances the quality of the interface that is inherent in the exchange of touch.
Technique then becomes more than simply placing ones hands in a particular place on the body but instead also includes the development of ones ability to practice attuning to the Stillness and being responsive to the Movement of Life.
All participants will have a chance to learn byway of giving and receiving touch during our hands-on practice time.
